A Breather

Hello friends and readers! I'm sitting on my couch, feet aching and eyes heavy, starting my weekly post 2 minutes after it should be up. Welcome to life sometimes! But my heart is full and I'm thankful beyond words for the day I've just had.

Tonight, the church campus I work at threw a celebration for our incredible volunteers and boy was it fun. We went Comic Con so costumes were abundanyt, wacky pictures took place in the photo booth, and plenty of dancing was had! It was such a  honor to plan and organize the event for the hundreds of incredible volunteers I get to serve every week! And to do it with the best staff a girl could ask for!

Every once in a while, there is a week that is just so crazy busy that a breather is needed, am I right? But I didn’t want to leave you hanging and without some rich resource, and the first thing that I just knew I wanted to share was a sermon I recently listened to. It is the best teaching on prayer I've heard and I still can't stop thinking about it! I hope you'll click on the link below for the phenomenal teaching on prayer by John Lindell at James River Church.

Come back next week as we continue our series, "Epic Fails."
